The AF 56mm F1.2 Pro is a large-aperture portrait lens specifically designed for the APS-C format (35mm equivalent: approximately 85mm). Its overwhelming brightness at an open aperture of F1.2 creates beautiful bokeh and a sense of three-dimensionality in subjects, achieving ideal depiction for portrait photography. The luxurious optical design of 13 elements in 8 groups (1 UA aspherical lens, 1 ED lens, and 3 high refractive index lenses) ensures high resolution from corner to corner even at F1.2. It supports the latest high-megapixel cameras, faithfully reproducing the texture of fine details even when cropped or enlarged. Equipped with Viltrox's proprietary HyperVCM motor, it achieves fast and quiet autofocus. It also features suppressed focus breathing suitable for video shooting, as well as a dust- and splash-proof structure and a robust metal barrel, making it ideal for a wide range of scenes from studio to outdoor photography.
