The Thypoch "Simera-C" blends classic lens design principles with DZOFILM's cinema technology and state-of-the-art optical design, achieving high resolution capable of 8K production while remaining compact and lightweight. Its bright T-stop ensures excellent rendering across a variety of shooting scenarios. The new 16mm T1.9 leverages its ultra-wide angle to dynamically capture vast natural landscapes and striking locations. Maintaining the series' consistent size, weight, and operability further enhances on-set mobility and operational efficiency.
Latest optical design and large aperture
The intricate optical structure, incorporating a floating design, ensures consistently high sharpness and contrast from wide open, despite its compact size. Additionally, the large-aperture design and 16-blade diaphragm create smooth, beautiful bokeh that is nearly perfectly circular, making subjects stand out naturally. While color reproduction is primarily neutral, the balance between contrast and flare has been adjusted to achieve a vintage-like rendering.
High resolving power with suppressed aberrations and beautiful bokeh
The advanced optical design combines ASPH aspherical lenses, ED lenses, and high-refractive index lenses. This effectively suppresses chromatic aberration and flare, achieving high resolution from the center to the periphery of the image.
Furthermore, Thypoch's high-precision aspherical lens technology suppresses onion ring bokeh, enabling smooth and beautiful bokeh expression.
0.8 MOD, high compatibility and practical design for optimal setup.
The 0.8 MOD gears on the focus and iris rings ensure compatibility with standard follow focus systems and cinema accessories. Uniform gear positioning across all lenses minimizes readjustment when swapping lenses or accessories. This also simplifies balancing on stabilizers and sliders, allowing for smoother lens changes. A wide 210° focus ring rotation provides high operational precision, enabling precise focus pulling and fine control over shallow depth of field.
