The Thypoch Ksana series' first release, the "21mm f/3.5 ASPH.", is a wide-angle lens that combines a classic appearance with retro rendering. Its lightweight aluminum alloy barrel makes it easy to carry around daily. The retro design harmonizes beautifully with Leica cameras. Furthermore, it features the uniquely developed multi-coating "Epoch Coating. '73". This coating recreates the warm amber flares and light blurs seen in Japanese optical lenses from the 1970s, using modern optical technology. While maintaining high standards for basic performance such as light transmission and resistance to backlighting, the lens is tuned to intentionally preserve light expressions, imparting a nostalgic and poetic atmosphere to the images. It balances the charm of classic lenses with the stable imaging performance of modern lenses, bringing impressive individuality and creative inspiration to each shot.

It uses aspherical lenses, ED lenses, and three high-refractive index lenses to correct various aberrations and ensure high image quality. Additionally, the 9-bladed aperture creates sharp, crisp 18-point starbursts at f/4. It balances retro flare expression with high image quality, expanding the range of photographic expression.

[Unique Classic Design]
The classic barrel design features a retro plum blossom motif on the focusing ring. Combined with a crescent-shaped focusing lever, operability is improved. While harmonizing with Leica camera bodies, the contoured design that follows the curve of your finger provides a comfortable grip and smooth operation. This ensures stable and accurate control even in situations requiring quick focusing.

[Supports Rangefinder and Live View Switching]
With a minimum focusing distance of 0.5m, you can get close to subjects and capture clear details. Furthermore, it supports rangefinder focusing, and by providing slight resistance at the 0.7m position of the focusing ring, you can intuitively grasp the distance at which you need to switch from rangefinder to live view mode.
