Eureka 28mm f/2.8 ASPH. Black/Silver
This product is a slim, pancake lens inspired by classic lenses from the 1950s. Based on the design philosophy of combining the classic aesthetic of the "Eureka" series with modern optical design, we have added a new 28mm wide-angle model to the lineup. It features a compact brass barrel and a high-quality finish achieved through special coating. The design harmonizes with cameras, creating a seamless look when attached. The optical design, which incorporates aspherical and high-refractive index lenses, achieves consistently high resolution from the center to the edges of the frame, effectively suppressing flare, ghosting, and peripheral light fall-off. This results in natural, clear images with minimal distortion. The exterior design evokes the classic look of the 1950s, drawing inspiration from the renowned British lens Dallmeyer 35mm f/3.5 Anastigmat and the classic camera that housed it, the Ilford Advocate. We have reinterpreted the neat and compact style of the 1950s in a way that suits contemporary cameras. Available in two colors, "Black" and "Silver," with a special coating achieved through a unique craftsmanship finish. You can choose from different tonal textures to match your preference or the camera body you use.
Compact yet modern optical design
An advanced optical design, incorporating one aspherical lens and three high-refractive index lenses, achieves excellent descriptive power despite its compact size. It delivers smooth tonal gradations and renders details sharply from the center to the edges of the frame. By suppressing flare and ghosting and reducing peripheral light fall-off and distortion, it provides consistent image quality across the entire frame.

Despite its compact size, it offers excellent close-up performance, allowing for detailed expression when shooting subjects at close range.
