The SG-image 25mm F1.8 is an APS-C compatible manual focus prime lens. It offers a natural angle of view equivalent to approximately 37.5mm in 35mm format (※), making it suitable for a wide range of scenes, including street photography, portraits, and table-top photography. The bright F1.8 aperture allows for expressive results with shallow depth of field, increasing photographic freedom even in low-light environments such as indoors or at dusk. Its optical design, comprising 7 elements in 5 groups including three high-refractive index lenses, achieves a balance of natural depth representation that highlights the subject's presence and a soft bokeh effect. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.25m, it also supports close-up photography of food and small objects. This allows for impressive close-up expressions with a significantly blurred background. The body is lightweight and compact, weighing around 160g, offering excellent portability for everyday use and travel. The exterior features a metal barrel (full-metal body), achieving both lightness and high rigidity and a premium feel.
