The Viltrox AF 35mm II F1.8 EVO is a full-frame compatible 35mm prime lens featuring an APO design. It suppresses chromatic aberration, which tends to appear around the edges of subjects, achieving clear and natural rendering even at an open aperture of F1.8. With its natural 35mm angle of view and bright F1.8 aperture, it is versatile for everyday snapshots, portraits, travel, and video shooting. You can also enjoy three-dimensional expressions with softly blurred backgrounds. The optical design consists of 13 elements in 10 groups, effectively incorporating two ED lenses, three high-refractive index lenses, and one aspherical lens to pursue sharp depiction from the center to the periphery of the image. Nano multi-layer coating reduces flare and ghosting. The autofocus uses a quiet and smooth STM motor. A front coating designed for splash and stain resistance allows it to perform well in various environments. It also features a click-switchable aperture ring, a custom Fn button, and support for firmware updates via USB Type-C, making it comfortable to use for both photography and videography.
