Thypoch's First AF Zoom Lens, the "Voyager AF 24-50mm f/2.8"
This product is a lightweight, compact, full-size compatible AF standard zoom lens that will be released as Thypoch's new "Voyager" series. It covers a practical focal length range from 24mm to 50mm, with a constant aperture of F2.8 throughout. At the wide-angle end, it is easy to capture landscapes, interiors, and cityscapes broadly, while the 50mm end offers an angle of view suitable for portraits and product photography.
Based on the optical design philosophy Thypoch has cultivated in cinema lens development, this is the brand's first AF zoom lens that achieves a good balance of descriptive performance, portability, and operability. It aims for stable resolution performance from the center to the periphery, while also considering natural bokeh expression and color reproduction. Furthermore, by adopting an inner zoom mechanism that maintains a constant overall length, it achieves both portability and operational efficiency.
Despite its lightweight design of approximately 450g, it supports intuitive operation with a click-stop aperture ring and function button. From everyday snapshots and travel to video production, this lens meets the demands of a wide range of shooting scenes, whether for stills or video.
Thypoch's First AF Zoom Lens
The Voyager AF 24-50mm F2.8 is Thypoch's first AF zoom lens. Based on the optical design philosophy cultivated through the development of professional cinema lenses, it achieves a balanced pursuit of high resolution, natural bokeh, and excellent color reproduction. It is designed to be an easy-to-use lens for both photography and videography.
A user-friendly standard zoom range of 24-50mm F2.8
The wide 24mm angle of view is ideal for landscape photography, indoor shooting, and environmental snapshots while traveling. At 50mm, subjects can be captured with a natural sense of distance, making it suitable for portraits and table-top photography. The constant f/2.8 aperture across the entire zoom range is also a key feature, making it easy to maintain stable exposure settings throughout.
Comfortable handling with an inner zoom mechanism
Inner zoom, which prevents the lens barrel length from changing during zoom operation, is employed. This design makes it easier to suppress changes in balance when using a gimbal and is also easy to handle during tripod shooting. Furthermore, it contributes to a more integrated appearance and better portability.
